2009 Patriot Invitational

On March 28th, we will again be hosting the Patriot Invitational at Governor Thomas Johnson High School in

Frederick, MD. Last year our meet was a huge success and we are looking forward to again hosting some of the best

teams in the state at this early season meet. We will be limiting entries to the first 15 teams to commit.

We are planning to offer a different opportunity than many other meets in the state. We will be replacing

several of the traditional events with a few other popular ones. Many of your teams may be pursuing entry into the

Penn Relays in the DMR or SMR so they will be part of our schedule of events. We also include the 400H in place of the

300H and the mile in place of the 1600. In addition, we will also be using FAT for all running events.

Entries:

Two entries will be permitted in each individual event along with one varsity entry in each relay. Each team will

also be allowed 5 wild card entries to be used in any event except for relays. Two JV relays will be permitted in

each JV relay race.

Awards:

Individual:

Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each event. Ribbons for places 4-6.

Team:

Trophies will be awarded to the top 2 teams for girls and boys.

Entry Fee:

$75 for a single team

$140 for both boys and girls teams
