Hello Runners!

The Pocono Area Running Club would like to personally invite you and members of your Club to the POCONO MOUNTAIN RUN FOR THE RED MARATHON.
        Registration is open and whether you're a marathon runner or you prefer the 5k road race now is the time to register for the May 17, 2009 race.  Visit www.poconomarathon.org and sign up today.
        Pocono Area Running Club invites you to come and view the beautiful area which the Club calls home by running the 26.2 mile course that begins at 8:00 am at the Clear Run Elementary School on Route 611 in Coolbaugh Township (Near Tobyhanna).  The course then travels through Mt. Pocono onto PA Routes 940 and 191 through Paradise Valley, Henryville, Analomink and eventually into Stroudsburg, ending at the Stroudsburg High School stadium.  The fast course was designed by experienced marathon runners and includes a drop in elevation of nearly 1000 feet.  The Pocono Marathon Run for the Red is officially certified by US Track & Field and is a official Boston Qualifying Marathon.
